Description

You can sit in a full room, or even a marriage, and still feel like nobody sees you. Here is how to deal with loneliness when you feel invisible. Pastor Kaloma Smith says Jesus looked past the whole crowd in Jericho and called Zacchaeus by name. Jesus sees you as you are and wants a personal relationship with you before you change a thing. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Luke 19:1-10 and shows how one meal with Jesus changed the way Zacchaeus saw everything. He preached it in October 2022. Questions this sermon answers Does God see me when I feel invisible? Pastor Smith says yes, because Jesus looked through the crowd to find Zacchaeus, and he will find you too. Why did Jesus go to Zacchaeus' house? Jesus wanted a personal relationship, so he invited himself to dinner without asking Zacchaeus to clean up his life first. Why did the crowd grumble about Zacchaeus? They saw a chief tax collector and a sinner, but Jesus saw someone he came to seek and to save. How does meeting Jesus change you? Zacchaeus gave half of what he had to the poor and promised to repay anyone he cheated, and Pastor Smith says Jesus keeps changing how you think the longer you walk with him.
