Creative / UAMEZ Church

Is there a place for my creativity at UAMEZ?

Your imagination, your perspective and your creative calling belong here.

At UAMEZ, creativity is one of our core values. We welcome people who see possibilities and find new ways to express what matters. Whether you work with music, sound, images, words, design or film, we value you as a person, not only for what you can produce. We give creatives space to work freely, recognize their contributions, and support their creative ventures. We also invite you to bring your gifts into the life of the church and help us share the story of Christ.

Our value

What does creativity mean here?

Creativity and faith

How do we tell the story of Christ with care and imagination?

The story of Christ is worth telling with care and imagination. A photograph can help someone see the life of a community. Words can make an invitation clear. Design and video can help a message reach someone who has never walked through our doors. Creativity is not simply about making the church look good. It is about helping people encounter the hope, grace and love at the heart of our faith.

What we commit to

How do we support creatives?

  • Space to work freely

We give creatives space to explore ideas, bring their perspective and work freely. We value the imagination they bring, not just a finished result.

  • Credit

We recognize the people behind the work and give credit for their creative contributions.

  • Ventures

Your creative life extends beyond what you make for the church. We support your creative ventures because we value your calling, not only your volunteer role.

  • Excellence without burnout

Our value of excellence without burnout belongs here, too: doing our best work for God should not mean running people into the ground.

Worship / Production / Creative

Which teams help share the story of Christ?

Creative at UAMEZ brings together our Worship, Production and Creative teams. Each offers a different way to bring your gifts into the life of the church.

  • Worship Singers and musicians help lead the congregation in worship and share the gospel through music.
  • Production Sound, lighting, cameras and livestream help the message be heard clearly in the room and online.
  • Creative Designers, photographers, writers and video editors share the stories, graphics and invitations that help people connect with the church.

What is within the Creative team?

  • Photography Capture worship, service and community.
  • Writing Communicate the message and the next step.
  • Design Make invitations clear.
  • Video Share messages and church life beyond Sunday.

If your gifts do not fit neatly into those categories, we would still love to hear what you create and what you hope to contribute.

Across generations

Is Creative only for young adults?

No. Creative is open to people across generations. Young adults are already part of the leadership and life of UAMEZ. Creative is another way to bring your perspective and gifts into the whole church, alongside people of different ages and experiences.
