Description

You did the right thing, and the next day it got harder. Moses carried God's message to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh answered by taking away the straw and keeping the brick quota the same. Then he called the people lazy for asking to worship. In this message from Exodus 5, Rev. Kaloma Smith asks what keeps you standing until God moves. This is for the person who spoke up at work or in their community and paid for it, and for anyone whose calendar has squeezed out their time with God. If the week has made you feel like nothing more than your output, this one is for you. Scriptures covered: • Exodus 5:1-9 • Psalm 30:11 • Romans 8:31 Chapters: 00:00 It got harder right before God moved 04:47 Flint, Michigan and the doctor who kept talking 10:57 Exodus 5: Let my people go, so that they may worship 12:03 Worship tells you who owns you 14:42 Bricks without straw: called lazy for worshiping 20:14 Why time with God is different 24:15 Back on the vine: from despair to hope 27:39 Fannie Lou Hamer: she kept saying it 29:55 John Wesley's letter to William Wilberforce 30:53 Say something and stand for someone 🌐 uamez.com 📺 youtube.com/@uamez 📸 instagram.com/uamezchurch #UAMEZ #UAMEZChurch #PaloAlto #PaloAltoChurch #SiliconValley #BayAreaChurch #AMEZion #Sermon #Exodus5 #Moses #Worship #Faith #ChristianFaith #FannieLouHamer #BlackChurch #GodsTiming #KalomaSmith #SpeakUp
