Description

Kids count down to presents, and grownups head into the holidays expecting things from work and family. What is Advent, and what do you expect from God this season? Pastor Kaloma Smith says Advent is a season of expectation, when we look back to Jesus' first coming and ahead to his promised return. Because God kept the first promise, you can trust him with the rest. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Isaiah 2:1-5 and shows how Isaiah's vision of the mountain of the Lord gives hope in uncertain times. He preached it at the start of Advent in 2022. Questions this sermon answers What is Advent?
