Description
If the last stretch of your life has left you numb, tired or quietly grieving, you may be asking what lament is and whether God wants to hear it. Lament is speaking honestly to God about a present pain and asking for help. Healing starts when you admit the hurt instead of acting like you are fine. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Lamentations 1 and shows how Jerusalem's grief moves through pain, honesty and a reset with God. It was preached in 2021, during Lent. Questions this sermon answers What is lament in the Bible? It is a prayer where a person brings a present calamity to God and asks God to help them through it.
