Description

If you take the laptop on vacation and wake up at 2 a.m. thinking about a spreadsheet, you may already be asking how to deal with burnout at work. A lot of our exhaustion comes from yokes we put on ourselves when work and money become the center of life. Jesus invites the weary to trade those for his yoke, where he carries the heavy end. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Matthew 11:28-30 and names five yokes many of us carry without noticing, from tying our identity to what we produce to putting off obedience until someday. It is part of the Free From series. Questions this sermon answers How do you deal with burnout at work?
