Description
We double check the news, the group chat and the trade rumor, so it makes sense that some of us end up doubting God too. Doubt does not disqualify you. Jesus came back for Thomas, made room for his doubt and waited for him to reach out, and he makes the same room for you today. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on John 20:24-29 and shows how Jesus embraced Thomas instead of pushing him out. Questions this sermon answers What should you do when you are doubting God? Be honest about it, then take one next step toward God, like more time in prayer or joining a small group. Yes, because doubt can push you to seek God in new ways and help your faith grow. How did Jesus treat doubting Thomas? He came back to the room, opened his arms and invited Thomas to touch his wounds.
