Description
Rev. Brandon Fisher, guest preacher from Kyles Temple AME Zion Church in Sacramento, brings the word for UAMEZ Church's 108th Homecoming Sunday from Luke 15:11, the story of the prodigal son. He asks us to read that son with grace instead of judgment, because nobody knows the backstory behind somebody else's choices. From there he pulls three discoveries: the vanity of a world that can never give you the purpose God gave you, the difference between being a victim and being a volunteer, and the value of a father's house where you're still watched for and run to. He closes with one invitation, that it only takes one decisive step back toward God.
