Description

If the word Father makes you flinch, the question of who God is gets personal fast. In Exodus 34:6-7 God describes himself in his own voice as merciful, gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. He is not a bigger copy of the father who raised you or left you, and at the cross his forgiveness and his justice meet. In this sermon, preached in 2026 as part of our Just Ask series on the basics of faith, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Exodus 34:6-7 and walks through the nine things God says about himself right after the golden calf. Questions this sermon answers Who is God according to the Bible?
