Description
You took the vacation and you're still tired by Tuesday. Be still and know that I am God is an invitation for exhausted people in a nonstop Silicon Valley week. Pastor Kaloma Smith says Christian stillness means stopping and turning your attention to God, which is different from emptying your mind. Prayer is more than thanks and requests, because God wants a relationship with you. In this sermon, Pastor Kaloma Smith of UAMEZ Church in Palo Alto, California preaches on Psalm 46:10 and shows how a few still minutes with God can change the way you pray. He preached it on February 18, 2024, the first Sunday of a Lent series on prayer. Questions this sermon answers What does be still and know that I am God mean?
