Description

We live in a 23-mile strip of the world where artificial intelligence is not coming, it's already here. Billboards on 101. Every pitch deck. Every product roadmap. And because we sit here, in Silicon Valley, we've started to assume that everybody else is sitting where we are. They're not. In this sermon, Rev. Kaloma Smith preaches from Luke 14:13-14 and names what most AI conversations in the Bay Area refuse to touch: who is being left behind, who is paying the cost, and what the Kingdom of God has always had to say about the people every other system has edited out. This is not a sermon about technology. It's a sermon about who gets named and who doesn't. Scripture: Luke 14:13–14 "But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you." Preached by Rev. Kaloma Smith University AME Zion Church (UAMEZ) | 3549 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94306 Sunday, May 3, 2026 | Sermon Series: Faith in the Age of AI UAMEZ Church is a 100+ year prophetic ministry located at the center of Silicon Valley , the same zip codes where AI is rewriting who gets counted, who gets hired, and who gets left behind.
