People get canceled faster than forgiven. Romans 5:8 breaks through the noise: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This is grace that doesn't wait for you to clean up; it meets you in your mess.
But God: Two Words That Change Everything
"But God" means it doesn't matter what came before. In Greek, "demonstrates" means keeps demonstrating. It's steady, constant, visible. The cross is God's love on permanent display, unchanging through every season of your life.
Three Movements of Grace
Prevenient grace—God working before you even knew. Justifying grace—forgiveness not after you cleaned up but while you're still broken. Sanctifying grace—ongoing transformation, healing wounds, breaking cycles. You're not stuck; you're in process. Grace isn't a moment; it's a movement.
